See Life Paulagic off Lewes, DE, USA, 16th November 2013

A business and family trip took us back to the US mid-Atlantic coast. So, on the 16th November we participated in Paul Guris's See Life Paulagic (http://www.paulagics.com/site/) off Lewes, DE, USA. I used to be a leader on Paul's trips from 2003 to 2007 and now I can add 2013 to this list. The night before the pelagic we travelled down from Philadelphia, PA, to Lewes, DE, to stay with the other leaders at our friend Ed's place. As usual, we had a few beers and enjoyed the evening and then tried to get some sleep before the 12-hour pelagic (6 am - 6 pm). We started in the rain but soon left the rain behind us to have a great trip. Highlights were a Scopoli's Shearwater, 2 Cory's Shearwaters, a Loggerhead Turtle, the 4 o'clock leaders' beer and a large shark, which may have been either a Great White or Basking Shark (unfortunately, I did not see the shark, so I can't comment further on it).
