Comments
A very interesting day at sea with birds being well scattered. Overcast conditions, light winds in the morning and poor light made for very difficult conditions for seeing birds. The conditions improved after mid-day with the cloud clearing and winds increasing to 10-12 knots from the east.
Once again unusually high numbers of Hutton’s Shearwaters both in shore and particularly beyond the Continental Shelf.
