Summary
A comfortable day at sea with good views of most birds including 4 Long-tailed Jaegers in various plumage phases. Good comparative views of all three species of Jaegers together. Albatrosses were represented by Wandering D. exulans Shy / White-capped , Black-browed and Campbell Is. Unusual high numbers of Sooty Shearwaters. A Little Penguin beyond the Continental shelf in 200 Fathoms was an unexpected sighting.
Bottle-nosed Dolphins and a small Mako shark made for an interesting day at sea.
