Instructions for photographers

If you have recently enjoyed a SOSSA pelagic trip and are happy to share some of your photos then please email a few photos to SOSSA's web site manager. Please carefully follow the instructions below .

To help keep track of all the photographs submitted to SOSSA and credit the right people with the right photographs could you please use the following naming format for image files.

Include:

Abbreviated name of species
Place photograph taken
Date
Photographers name or intitals
A unique number if more than one file with the same details

Separate each with a full stop.

For example:

LFPW.WGONG.17DEC05.PJM.1.jpg
LFPW.WGONG.17DEC05.PJM.2.jpg

Translated these file names will tell me that the images are of a long-finned pilot whales taken off Wollongong on the 17th December by Peter Milburn.

Please make all image files less than 800kb each.
